hmm yes yes interesting
so you think humans will ever get to live on another planets
>how come youve been so consistent in these threads
can you explain?
do you mean like how do I manage to post them (almost) every day?
>past 3 or so years?
whaat it's been that long?! @w@
>>
>>84871296
>so
do?
I think that if that ever becomes a reality it'll only be the wrong kinds of people who will get to do that

>>84871296
>so you think humans will ever get to live on another planets
if we manage to find a way to produce fuel from nothing maybe sure but it will be such a resource intensive thing that i think it will be only reserved for scientific (or more so military) missions
if indeed its like the movies only the rich are gonna be there so yeah doesnt much matter anyway
>how do I manage to post them (almost) every day?
yeah how do you manage to be here day after day after day talking to new people constantly on a very non standard platform
if theres not a /cut/ thread in the catalog it will be days on end until youre back for one to appear

Friday was blur, but weekend is going pretty okay

>>84855566
> failure for not being able to explain myself correctly
something a lot people to struggle with. All communication is imperfect even if you're the best communicator in the world and requires other person trying to understand as well
>since I'm so pent up
even a little bit of light working out goes a long way to blow off steam, even if occasionally doing something light

>>84855966
>what about weekends?
to an extent. It was bad out last weekend, but trying to go out and do more this one. Have big plans next coming weekend after this though
>glad your new job isn't as bad as the last one
me too

>>84856534
>"incremental" genre?
did a quick search and way people explain it does not sound particularly appealing to me, but to each their own i guess
>it simply isn't anymore
i hear you, but I'm pretty sure most people have heard enough to know the basic premise is more so what I mean.
>feeling lonely? there's someone who loves you...
I'm sorry, but is sounds like where you live is slowing turning into Ohio, picrelated comes next
>don't talk about that until monday.
noted, hope you're having a good weekend

>that is a really big if
exactly. Why a lot of people stay in really shitty jobs for a while is not just pay, but the basic things you need to survive that for some reason the boomers were convinced should be a privilege of the wealthy
> regular old people weirdness more so than anything
there's always some conflict between newer and older ways of life. The problem is, American boomers pushed quality of life for regular people back centuries and ignored how hard previous generations had to push to get what they had.

>you're hurting so much
that hit me hard. it's been like this for a while, but the last week has been an emotional rollercoaster and a lot of resentment towards the people in my life's been building up. it's... i don't know. just nothing's been going my way.

>I hope your fortune turns around sooner than later
thank you. hope i can work towards that at some point.

>no worries if it isn't for (You).
i don't think it is. ^^' not a football (or sports im general) guy, so i'm having trouble to get into it. especially rough if and event like the world cup is going on.

>I'll probably slack off.
how did that prophecy turn out?

>Hopefully my poor work ethic won't bite me in the ass.
i'm sure it won't. do your best! (*^*)9

>I genuinely don't know how you do it.
as i always say: "not having a choice helps! :D" jokes aside, it's grinding me down. doesn't help that people think they should dress like they're at a beach oarty when coming to a store. don't know where to look sometimes.

>>84866186
>spend 50 euro to go out with gf and keep the rest to help my mum pay off loans and stuff
see? you're a good and sensible guy.

>i dont have the wiggleroom at the moment to do that unfortunately
you're making the right choices. there'll come a time when you can.

>within the next 4 days im like 65% sure ill break the streak as exams are ending and closer to the end im getting more worried if anything
sadly that makes sense. don't beat yourself up to much if it happens, vut maybe you could stay around people more when it's getting to much to bear?

>i love complaining
true. i don't want a solution, i wan't to be mad! what good has not complaining ever done to me? >:[

>i just wish i could have such self reflection when its most needed
heh. yeah. my superpower definitely is hindsight. :p

>goals dont really motivate me very much, im not sure why
same here. i don't care about what most people want, i suppose. don't know what to do about it, either.

same. tried to talk to him on discord, but nothing. i think he's russian, right? don't they have their internet access restricted? maybe it's something like that.

>>84866852
>i just don't really need a new one right now so no need to spend 10%~
not being frustrated by something can be worth it, but if you say it doesn't bother you that much, you should just keep the money.

>i miss meeting people like those that easily become "friends"
she definitely has some mental issues or disability, so i try to stay calm and patient, but it's exhausting when you're already at work.

>i usually wouldn't like having something wet on my head but guess i might try it if i had a water bottle some day
you hardly even feel it after the initial shock and it really helped today. can recommend.

>even air conditioners don't fully help
i feel you. having my pc and a fan running does only make things way worse, but i'll not turn them off. :<

>wait so you have to stay busy all the time there? that really sucks :[
yeah. as soon as you're done with one task, something other task will magically appear. or you're still behind on work that should have been doen ages ago, but you had to deal with other stuff first. there's always something. granted, there's less stuff to do the later it gets.

>i suppose you need to sort things inside the store before leaving, am i right?
yeah. cleaning, taking out thr trash and counting the money in the registers. just takes some time.

>i thought you had the weekend
now i do. time to do as much nothing ad i can til monday.

>>84871117

>did a quick search and way people explain it does not sound particularly appealing to me, but to each their own i guess
yeah. had to unsubscribe from a guy since he switched from playing roguelites and horde survivor games to basically nothing but incrementals. there's just nothing left for me to watch there.

>I'm pretty sure most people have heard enough to know the basic premise is more so what I mean.
sure. it's mostly christian, but that has changed a lot in the last generation or so. my grandparents still cared about the institutions, my parents still went through the motions and a lot of people in my generation don't care at all. doesn't mean we haven't heard about jeebus and the three musketeers.

>is sounds like where you live is slowing turning into Ohio, picrelated comes next
who needs to be reminded of that? we're already in it.

>roguelites and horde survivor games to basically nothing but incrementals.
strange progression of events...
>doesn't mean we haven't heard
which is precisely the issue with these evangelist types in general. It's not just whether or not people have already made up their mind, it's almost insulting the way they go about this sort of thing since it's not like everyone hasn't heard what they said before and they don't realize that just because something has made a positive impact on their life, doesn't mean others care what impact it's had on them. It's very futile and misplaced usually, regardless of how you feel about Christianity and I've heard several Christians agree it can do more harm than good.
>who needs to be reminded of that?
it serves a useful warning that you made a wrong turn and are now in Ohio. Honestly very fitting.

>strange progression of events...
he was already modding those games to make them harder or achieve certain runs, so he was already very focussed on the stats. it was the logical next step for him. i just checked out.

>just because something has made a positive impact on their life, doesn't mean others care what impact it's had on them.
true. if they have a good life because of it, they should just live it and people will take notice and start to emulate it for themself. can't force anyone, though. had these people at my door at 9:00 on a saturday once. they were dressed i suits, i had a bathrobe on. weirdly i was not in the mood to hear what they had to say.

>it can do more harm than good.
it's like when people tell you how good something is and you need to try it and your first reaction for some reason is "nah. i'm good."

>it serves a useful warning that you made a wrong turn and are now in Ohio. Honestly very fitting.
heh. guess that state is just too hardcore for you. gotta lern the fundamentals before you progress.

>anything you want to complain about or just trying to move along?
eh, just wasn't able to play some warhammer with my friends cause i didn't make it in time. was home at 4:45, my buddy had to leave at 6:00 and a game would have taken about 2 hours, so no time for hour game. just stayed home and watched the tadc-movie. i already saw some spoiler, but watched it anyway. /co/ won't be browseable for a week or two. I had a dream last night gonna tell you about it is a bit
Also I helped my grandma move to a different place, honestly it made me want to move out, it seems easy, though I'll need a job first!

>>
so in the dream me and my highschool class went to japan for some reason we discovered one of the guys started working in a stable, idk why but he looked happy then I was in a convenience store looking at blue pepsi then I walked up a ladder in to the celling and sorta between the celling tiles and the celling I discovered a train station there, it was a very tight space, I was basically squeezed between the floor and the celling and I had to crawl around
then the train arrived and for some reason I felt as if its weight was on top of me, I couldn't move or breathe until it left
I also remember there was some girl there but I don't remember what the deal was with her

ah that makes sense in that context. People too focused on completion/challenge/etc cross into that realm of being weird with games to the point i don't see the fun
>people will take notice and start to emulate it for themself.
exactly. I heard someone also explain the problem is some of these christian sects with overzealous believers have this problem where many worry they're not doing enough if they're not doing this type of work, when the Bible itself seems to suggest different people have different skills and not everyone should be no where near trying to sell people on it
>guess that state is just too hardcore for you.
Just more Ohio jokes. Parts of it are okay. Gets joked about a lot because of dumpy polluted cities like Toledo and Cleveland, while lacking a lot of the Midwest charm you'll find in other nearby states, so it's an easy target.

the biggest gripe I have is boomers deify the WW2 generation to an absurd degree, but then hate social welfare programs of any kind and all unions equally , then pretend the Great Depression wasn't a thing. >hello
Hi!

>How are you doing today?
Im doing fine. Sometimes I feel a general sense of foreboding, but otherwise I've just been on my computer all day.

>Any plans for today?
Nope. Just plan to be on my computer all day, listen to the same music I always do, go on the same social media I always do.

>When was the last time you hurt yourself?

>Why did you hurt yourself?
Sometimes when I feel anxious, the only way I can think to calm myself down is to give myself a bigger issue. Its like "oh, I feel like something very bad is going to happen, instead of focusing on that, I should focus on the blood dripping from my arm."

>Is there anything bothering you right now?
Not really, just life being mundane, boring, and generally unlivable.
>>
>>84873192
>I had a dream last night gonna tell you about it is a bit
i had a weird one not to long ago, too. don't remember much about it, but i was running away from some demon or ghost thing, but it had some weird projectile-power that you could avoid by standing in certain spots. super weird and i don't usually dream stuff like that. i think i watched to many game reveal shows.

>it seems easy, though I'll need a job first!
usually how that goes. good luck.

>I really like how the world looks from different windows in different places
never paid much attention to that, but i haven't looked out of a window i haven't known for ages in a while. i'll try to make an effort to do so when i get the chance.

>Also remember to drink a lot of water guys
*glug* *glug*

>how r you?
i'm in a weird mental state right now. lots of things just haven't worked out. i think i'm going to watch another episode of widow's bay. first one was a bit slow, hope the second one picks up the pace.

>just chilling now or trying to in this weather ^^'
yeah, it's rough. how are you holding on?

>>84873240
>what i try to do with most destructive things that are within my power
well, it's been working for you so far, so i'll put my faith in you. you know best how to deal with these things.

>in my case if i felt shit enough id probably sneak off
let's just hope it won't get that bad and if you does, maybe sneak off and call your girlfriend?

>no idea none at all
don't you just love surprises...

>do you want to be just fine though?
would be a nice start.

>what if one wants more? thats where it gets complicated imho
true, but wanting more at least show you do have ambitions in the first place, so maybe there's a way to capitalize on that somehow.

>if hes in uni too or what
he was in some sort of education, but i'm not sure what form, either.

>>84873251
>stable, idk why but he looked happy
i'm sure that was officeanon :p

definitely a wild dream, though. you think it means anything?
>>
>>84873160
bwahhh no way i forgot to answer qwq

>i think it'll stay like this for a while, won't it?
sadly yea.. gonna boot up tarkov n see how long it takes for me to go insane :s

>you got plenty of good games, but it's ok to not feel like playing them. would just feel like a chore anyway.
true... for me its just, after playing thru a ton of games i always try to look for something better but i just cant find anything.. same goes for shows / anime

>sending you some cool thoughts ~~~>
hehe tyy :3

there's something off about it. can't put my finger on it...

>>84873431
>cross into that realm of being weird with games to the point i don't see the fun
as long as it's fun for them. number crunchers need their games, too. remember watching a guy who did endless vids on the damage of dark souls weapons. he even worked in the official bloodborne guide later. still have that somewhere.

>they're not doing enough if they're not doing this type of work
it's odd. in the end they're only getting to people that already agree anyway and push everyone else further away. had to bite my tongue to not tell them what i really think and just firmly said i wasn't interested. maybe a bit too firmly.

>Just more Ohio jokes.
sure. ^^ just need to poke some fun here and there. just don't know much about it, so i can't really join in.

>It happens sometimes unfortunately
yeah. it's a narrative campaign, so i'd have liked to get some info or pics about how it went, but nothing so far. bit pissed about that.

>how'd you like everything? I think I said before, but whole thing was serviceable at least
really enjoyed the series up to the finale and had a really hard time watching that. i think the ending was alright for the story being told, but just not for me. the shitflinging between the creator and some fans doesn't help, either. will keep away from /co/ for a while.

>>84873514
hey, anon!

>Im doing fine. Sometimes I feel a general sense of foreboding
that's good to know. relate to that feeling, though. not sure what it is, but something's been off, lately. maybe that's just me, though.

>I've just been on my computer all day.
anything interesting in there?

sounds like a way to kill some time if i've ever heard one. wanna tell more about what kind of social media you use or what music you're listening to?

>the only way I can think to calm myself down is to give myself a bigger issue
makes sense to me. replaceing the ominous with something you can deal with.

>just life being mundane, boring, and generally unlivable.
hope we can distract you from thst for a while. (^-^)

>>84873676
>bwahhh no way i forgot to answer qwq
seems to happen to us quite a bit, lately. let's not make a habit out of it! D:

>gonna boot up tarkov n see how long it takes for me to go insane :s
hope you'll have a good time instead and will loot as much great gear as you can carry!

>i always try to look for something better but i just cant
need to get through that post-good-stuff depression first. always takes some time, but you'll get there again.

>same goes for shows / anime
hard to find things these days. there's just so much of everything and in so many different places, it gets more and more difficult to just sit down and engage with something. personally, i'm still waiting for the next cowboy bebop.

>hehe tyy :3
wanted to send this pic with it, but forgot

i hope so... really wanna get into some more single player games desu

>hard to find things these days
true... i remember watching toonami on adult swim back when i was a lil kid. good old cracked tv.. started monogatari just a few days ago, been enjoying it so far :3

>i'm still waiting for the next cowboy bebop.
ooo havent watched that yet :p i only know the shroom scene, that was funny :3

the joy of playing with other people. sometimes i wonder why they play in the first place if they don't care for the competition. never was fun to me to just steamroll people.

>really wanna get into some more single player games desu
anything you got your eyes on?

>i remember watching toonami on adult swim back when i was a lil kid. good old cracked tv
must have been cool. i was mostly watching anime on mtv. i think vox had some late night anime program as well. watched some cool stuff there.

>started monogatari just a few days ago
saw that being mentioned a few times. what's it about?

>ooo havent watched that yet :p i only know the shroom scene, that was funny :3
it was the right show at the right time for the right audience. it's kinda slow and you need to be in the mood for it, but since you're so much into music, i think you might have a good time, but every shinichiro watanabe show would be something for you in that regard.
>>
Evening everyone. Hope you're all well.
Back to the grindstone today trying to get this document finished.

>>84866852
>how are you disanon?
I had a pretty rough week earlier (hence the lack of posting for a bit) but I'm doing better now. Although I'm a little exhausted from work and social obligations.

>>84867025
> the game itself is super grind heavy
That'd be enough to put me off, honestly. I'm bad at using my own time well, but I also hate the feeling that I could be doing something more enjoyable. That was a big problem I had with RuneScape when I still played that.
>that's why i just hate a lot of recent shows, they just feel like soulless slop
For the most part I'm insulated from this by mostly just sticking to stuff made in the 90s, with a few exceptions.

>>84871265
I was really into astronomy when I was younger and wanted to work in the field. Unfortunately my science grades were too bad for that. I wish I could get back into it.

>>84871859
>get how that is, best of luck. do what you have to and hope it's done soon
Thank you. It's getting there so I'm not too worried.
>work is draining but no complaints
Good, good. I take it it's a much better place to work than the last one?
>>
>>84873981
>sometimes i wonder why they play in the first place if they don't care for the competition.
99% its just arrogant lil kids who wanna ruin the fun for others to make themselves feel strong. thats why i use a mod menu in mw2 to kick cunts that ruin the game

>anything you got your eyes on?
kinda? my dad said i should play dying light 2 sometime.. might buy it someday

>was mostly watching anime on mtv. i think vox had some late night anime program as well.
didnt know that! i only watched my stuff on adult swim, then took a loooong break n then started using aniworld

>saw that being mentioned a few times. what's it about?
phew i dont even know yet. all i can say is every season is a new side story of the characters from s1 where every season a side char from s1 becomes the main char. its all connected but shifts focus n follows a non linear timeline

>i think you might have a good time
ill defo add it to my list! gonna finish monogatari first tho ;p maybe gonna start the english dub of ghost stories for the funnies after finishing those two
>>
>>84872293
>a lot of resentment towards the people in my life's been building up. it's... i don't know. just nothing's been going my way.
I understand. Life has nasty a habit of piling on everything at once. I hope it can all be resolved relatively painlessly.
>hope i can work towards that at some point
I'm rooting for you!
>not a football (or sports im general) guy, so i'm having trouble to get into it.
Fair enough. I don't really care for it either and genuinely cannot recall if I've ever sat through a full match. I just treat this as a friend simulator, I think.
>how did that prophecy turn out?
Very true.
>i'm sure it won't. do your best! (*^*)9
Thank you. I need to make the good anons here proud of me.
>it's grinding me down
Would you be able to jump ship to another job that isn't customer-facing? Or slightly nicer customer-facing?

>>84873251
>between the celling tiles and the celling I discovered a train station there
I enjoy these kind of weird architecture things in dreams that you just sort of accept are real in the moment.
>>
>>84874093
>its just arrogant lil kids who wanna ruin the fun for others
sounds about right, but cheating is quite the industry these days. i'll never get it, but i also don't play these games, so i don't have to.

>thats why i use a mod menu in mw2 to kick cunts
sad you have to, but at least you can.

>i should play dying light 2 sometime.. might buy it someday
that the zombie game on the island? i always mix that up with dead by daylight.

>didnt know that!
ancient lore at this point. what shows did i watch there... agent aika, record of lodoss war, silent moebius, samurai champloo, vision of escaflowne, the lupin the 3rd movies, golden boy. not a bad time to get into anime.

>i only watched my stuff on adult swim
didn't even know we got that here, but people always speak highly of it. what shows did you watch?

>aniworld
never heard of that before.

>its all connected but shifts focus n follows a non linear timeline
sounds like a lot of work to get into. hope it's worth the effort.

>gonna finish monogatari first tho ;p
definitely do that. no good mixing shows.

>english dub of ghost stories
is it that hilarious?

>>84874109
>I hope it can all be resolved relatively painlessly.
it's ok. i'll just repress it and make some remarks here and there.

>I'm rooting for you!
o7

>I just treat this as a friend simulator, I think.
yeah. if you watch it for the guys, then it really doesn't matter what the vid is about. just a good time regardless.

>Very true
maybe that was one of the self-fulfilling once. :p

>I need to make the good anons here proud of me.
you've come quite far already. we already are.

>Would you be able to jump ship to another job that isn't customer-facing? Or slightly nicer customer-facing?
i don't think i'm ready for that. wouldn't even know where to start looking here or what to do instead.

i think i'll fall asleep soon. good night, everyone.

i only use it to kick cheaters so thats good. when i play im usually with a little group that also got menus n we play normally n kick cheaters to keep lobbies clean

>that the zombie game on the island?
nono thats dead island xD dying light is open world with zombies but in a urban setting

>didn't even know we got that here, but people always speak highly of it.
i mean for us its payTV on warner TV comedy or prime video but... it sucks. i used to watch the US channel cuz it was actually good.

>what shows did you watch?
trigun, bleach, flcl, inuyasha, ghost in the shell, blue exorcist, black lagoon... thats all that i can remember

>never heard of that before.
got no money for a crunchyroll subscription soo yea, its my go to pirated streaming site
