>sounds very game like ^^
yeah. it was also very chinese mythology themed. lots of those games these days.

>or maybe just the right amount :>
i don't think there was a single game announced i actually wanted to play. the platinum games tmnt one could be fun, but there was just a teaser for it.

>I got a feeling I'm gonna need it
it's rough out there. don't be discouraged.

>they're everywhere so ir shouldn't be too hard
harder than it sounds for someone as set in his routines as i am

>has it?
watched the whole season and i liked it, but i'm so tired of things always ending on a cliffhanger. this could have been a one-and-done thing, but i guess not. at least it got renewed for a second season. also watched a movie calles hokum and finally got around to watch mad god.

>I don't believe dreama can have meanings Dreams are about whatever you're thinking about at the moment
i guess that's what i asking when i talk about meaning. what stuff did you process in there?

>>84874371
>i only use it to kick cheaters so thats good.
when you ever get so mad you just start kicking randoms, you know it's time for another game. ^^

>nono thats dead island xD dying light is open world with zombies but in a urban setting
ugh... it gets really hard to keep track of all the zombie games, especially when they all have the same name. think i got the game you're talking about, now.

>i mean for us its payTV
what isn't these day. looked up where i could legally watch the stuff i wanted to and just ended up watching it on the usual sites.

>trigun, bleach, flcl, inuyasha, ghost in the shell, blue exorcist, black lagoon... thats all that i can remember
also good stuff. watched trigun not that long ago, but remember nothing about it. really strange. i have black lagoon on blu ray. was really into it back then. it's so weird the manga is still going.
>>
>>84874371
>got no money for a subscription soo yea, its my go to pirated streaming site
i just downloaded most series i watched on serienjunkies. had a whole drive worth of anime, but it vanished somewhere. i had a crunchyroll sub for a few years. it helps to just have a catalog you can browse and just watch stuff. i watch way less now that i just go to sites again.

real... the amount of zombie games that i played... even hard for me to keep track of everything

>what isn't these day. looked up where i could legally watch the stuff i wanted to and just ended up watching it on the usual sites.
true... thats why i havent used my tv in years now. at least 5-6 years. streaming is my go to, legal or not. id rather pay for lets say netflix than subscribing to a tv channel just to realize the stuff i wanna watch doesnt air anymore

>i have black lagoon on blu ray. was really into it back then.

>i should really take a break n stick to tarkov >:3
if you can call that a break, you're definitely build different. that stuff would get me so mad...

>the amount of zombie games that i played... even hard for me to keep track of everything
i think i haven't played a true zombie game in quite a while. played games that had zombies in them, but not the same focus. would you say a zombie game needs to have a modern setting to be considered one?

>thats why i havent used my tv in years now. at least 5-6 years. streaming is my go to, legal or not
pretty much, this. i watch a few things on tv over the year, but it's not much. streaming is just way more convenient.

>subscribing to a tv channel just to realize the stuff i wanna watch doesnt air anymore
truly the dark ages of entertainment.

>wahhh im jealous >:( always wanted to get it but didnt manage to..
antje von der ahe as revy is truly something special. never fails to make me smile when i hear her. ^^

>gotta read them someday..
i don't think we'll ever see the end of it. one of the rare cases where the publisher holds the manga hostage for some reason.

>>84881251
>you guys watched the backrooms movie?
not yet, but would have been fitting to watch today. how is it?

>I didn't notice that
probably because they all look kinda the same. always some dark fantasy souls-ish action game.

>seems pretty normal nowadays
at least for me, but i just don't get it. you'd think with all the games featured there would at least be one or two that spark actual interest in me.

>well I never been couraged in the first place
heh. that's the spirit! ;D

>just look out for that stuff in the future
i'll do my very best. best chance will be next month, it seems.

>what do ya think?
i enjoyed it. stop motion is one of my favorite mediums, but it's more of an experience than a movie in the traditional sense. still a good time. got very inspired by bloodborne for a part of it, i'd say.
>>
>>84881715
>if you can call that a break, you're definitely build different. that stuff would get me so mad...
i hate tarkov. i hate it so damn much. but its like im addicted. its the only game that i can enjoy even tho i lose my mind after 20 mins

>would you say a zombie game needs to have a modern setting to be considered one?
mm not really

>streaming is just way more convenient.
xactly. if i wanna watch something then i wanna click play n enjoy. i hate waiting for something to come on tv or just being okay with whats airing rn

>antje von der ahe as revy is truly something special. never fails to make me smile when i hear her. ^^
for reallll the voice acting is just so good qwq

>i don't think we'll ever see the end of it. one of the rare cases where the publisher holds the manga hostage for some reason.

true. i should be more specific that i don't mean that. ^^

>How r y today btw?
had a good time distracting myself with some movies, heat is killing me and i need to get up early tomorrow. that's about it. you?

>>84881697
>it's really becoming a problem tho lol
maybe set 2 or 3 alarms and force yourself to get up?

>i could lay awake for 2 hours and still not call asleep
always been an issue for me, too. i don't know how people who instantly fall asleep do it.

>how are you doing today?
i'm ok. temperatures are killing me, watched some show and movies, then just killed time. tried to do some mandated training for the job, but couldn't access the site, which was a tad annoying. gonna have to call tomorrow and see how i can get in there. you doing good?
>>
>>84881759
>its the only game that i can enjoy even tho i lose my mind after 20 mins
i guess the addiction-part prevents from keeping it at a session per day?

>mm not really
i see, but dark souls wouldn't be one, even though every human character in that game basically is a zombie, right?

>i wanna click play n enjoy.
only thing the old version has going for it is making watching something a social event. when everyone sits down and watches at the same time, it just creates another atmosphere around the show. well, that's mostly gone, but the pros outweigh the cons by a ton.

have to call it a day now. see you all soon.
>>
>>84881999
>i guess the addiction-part prevents from keeping it at a session per day?
mmmhm... :p iiiif i have the time, i spend around... 15ish hours per day just in tarkov...

>i see, but dark souls wouldn't be one, even though every human character in that game basically is a zombie, right?
tough... but no i dont think it is one...

I woke up from one a few hours ago actually. You're making me feel very old... It's probably my favourite show, I'd recommend giving the early seasons a look. They're very funny and have a lot of heart.

Me either, honestly. YouTube has taken that slot for me and in a way I regret that.

Season 1 is pretty rough around the edges but 2 has some very strong episodes. I think people usually recommend seasons 2-9.

I sure do love knowing skinheads. The actual kind, not boneheads... I can't believe I'd leave the ward doing so good and then have some loser threatening my life for befriending the only other girl my age who also wasn't uhm... Actually clinically insane. I think people have a habit of seeing a *achem* "lonely depressed faggot" and assuming I don't actually know people or can stick up for myself. I've got hella connections. So, if anything, this is kinda nice because I feel so capable of taking care of myself. Proving I do indeed have a huge network of people I can lean on for any occasion. Including ... Well. Hmm... Yeah.

It feels like I've only realized this after exhausting every other possible feel good strategy to the point of dullness. I am trying to work through this but it's tough and I hate the idea of trauma dumping on someone. I think I spent a long time trying to pretend I don't care about anything but I really do care and it hurts how much I care and it hurts to bottle everything down, so put it all together and it just hurts in an unescapable way
>>
Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well.

It has been a good while since I've posted anything to this general despite the fact that I lurk it quite often. While this is mostly due to the fact that I don't really know what to say, it's also 'cause of those wacky Captchas!!!

Jokes aside, I don't even know why I wanted to post this. Maybe it's to pretend to make myself known, lol.

Not so much for me right now. The sky is gray and heavy, preceding a big storm. While I do like the clear weather, an overcast day has its own beauty.

exactly the issue and in truth, but they operate under it's the thought that counts. But to me, if you haven't thought about this very thing we talked about, you really shouldn't be doing it in the first place and I think religious people need to be more open that not everyone should be evangelizing.

i think it could have been much worse yeah. By no means a masterpiece, but I didn't think it was completely unsatisfying.
> shitflinging between the creator and some fans
i saw a little of that. Maybe I just get these fandom people. I'll be honest, I don't really care who makes the things I watch save for meme purposes like making fun of some manga writers. Anytime I hear people talk about fandoms toxic I want to tell them real life isn't middle school and they should probably worry less about these things. I did find Goose's "eh who cares" to the spoilers kind of funny since I kinda agreed and it's not like Goose coulda done anything about it either.

Long story short enough to fit is... the girl in the ward I befriended was in an extremely emotionally and physically abusive relationship. She's only a few years older than me, and was one of the few who weren't. Crazy. No offense to the others but. We clung together for both of our stays for that reason. Both checking ourselves in within a few hours of separation and leaving 2 hours apart. I helped her break up with him. Of course. He learned about me due to having her phone bugged n shit. He's lashing out saying evil shit
>Pic rel
It's not even the beginning of it. Luckily I've got friends willing to die for me who's all got plans for what to do if he tries or does anything. I'm thinking getting cops involved as soon as he gets more explicit or drops my address or something. Which. Is available with just my number. Which he has. Same with my current legal name. Given all 3 names he called me aren't the correct name, I'm pretty chill right now. However, gotta do whatcha gotta do, so I'm currently moving all valuables over to my partner's who's none the wiser. Undue stress and all. Plus. Im a capable adult who's delt with a friend with a homicidal ex boyfriend before. I've got this handled.

I saw someone say my doodles will be missed and read all the well wishes. I'm not sure how I'll draw given I only know how to draw depression inspired stuff, but It's still cathartic. I'll see what I can do :3c I'm really happy with my stay, and even this has me feeling happy as I feel super capable and like I have the absolute best support system a girl could ask for even in the extremes.

Got a new piercing I'll attach a picture of next time I feel compelled to come on here and post. The other girl got it for me and a matching one (kinda- mine has chains and stuff due to old piercings and blah blah) as a "we made it - hope we keep getting better" gift. All I've gotta do is buy her a drink sometime, which sounds great to me ;3

Nah. I can't wait. Shits just too cute and makes me feel so happy. It's honestly my least painful piercing yet. It *feels* healed already one day later with absolutely no swelling or crusting. The star and moon are old and were placed with the intention of this third piercing for a while. She got a forward helix with a blood drop attachment. Once it heals I plan on making it a spike on top with a bigger sized... Link? With a third chain dangling with a sword, razor, or something. I'll see what's available jewelry wise. May make both small piercings stars and have a dangling moon. I'm not sure. Gotta wait 3-6 months anyways for it to be healed enough to hold weight.

Maybe this is just a United States thing, but yeah- no- privacy is generally a farce with even a little bit of information due to social media (I don't use it), public documents, background checks, etc. Unless you're like. Super schizo about everything you do. Which, I am a good bit more than the average person, which is why my friend who like. Does this a lot could find my stuff using very little, but not this weirdo. Too many red herrings attached to my info. Plus, its in a list of like 9 other locations - none actually connected to me. Godspeed to whoever wants to find me. Id be impressed. Idk what they'd want with someone like me.

I would say the language here is violent to the point it could be considered a genuine threat, so if someone is texting you like this, you should have grounds for reporting to police a genuine threat (people have gotten arrested for less obvious threats which is where the origin of the "in Minecraft" thing came from) so don't sleep on it too long. You don't want it to get actually violent if there's an easier resolution.

I feel like I'm so behind in life. I'm 27 and I'm still a NEET who lives with his parents, all while society and the economy continues to crumble. I have dreams but a lot of the passion has been beaten out of me. I spend a good chunk of my time in isolation. What's worse, I feel like a burden on everybody. A drain on resources. My mother reminds me that I should stop borrowing condiments from the fridge (I'm your son, can I at least have a little mayonaise?) and that I need to get a job (she hasn't held one herself in decades, she just mooches off Dad...like I do). My father has to help me with car repairs because I'm so goddamn incompetent with anything mechanical (I replaced my car mirror by myself and my parents celebrated it like it's a big accomplishment). My own little sister suggested I just go on disability already because I'm so mentally ill. I can hardly hold down a job because everything I do makes me want to kill myself, and I have to use state resouces literally meant for disabled people just so I find a job. Almost all of my friends have moved out, many of them are dating or are married. I haven't even had a real girlfriend yet. I didn't even get my first kiss until 24. Dad tells me my friends don't have the same struggles as I do but really, a lot of them have mental health problems as well.

I just feel like a broken person. Like some fuckup with no accomplishments to his name. A guy who's just a burden. Someone who can never figure his life out and all of my friends know it and they point it out and it's fucking humiliating.

I can't believe I have to spend my youth this way.

>so i should be able to watch it.
I reccomened!
do you think about maybe going to the cinema?
>ignorance is bliss.
yep!
>pastel-colored slop
haha true
>and i think the creator of mad god felt inspired by that.
may be may be
>know he put 30 years into it. absolute mad lad.
yep hes and old guy who's been working on the movie in his spare time for may years
I think it's cool something like that exists
It doesn't even have much of a plot you just look at cool things

>good day all around.
I'd say so :3
>work picking up a little again

at least not as bad as the old one?

that's good
that's what fun is!

Ik maybe I'll get to practice one day
>who had to visit New Jersey

>>84898645
>intellectual failing, it's a moral one.
I feel it's just lots of people don't question that stuff at all, same with superstitions
>was really bad, but that's ancient history now.
yep let's keep it burried and not dig it out or we'll be cursed
>already install it?
today yep

i'll give you that. if i actually go through /a/ and /co/ and hide everything i don't care about, the catalog is usually empty.

>reminder to take my blood pressure meds
you have to take those?

>wanted to crack it asw but never had the time to... gonna do that now
brother mentioned it before and i have it on my wishlist, but 30 bucks was a bit much for now. maybe when it's on sale. could be a cool game for the thread.

>just doesnt feel right for sum reason.
had that feeling watching the european cup a few years ago. just doesn't feel right to watch something that constantly tries to sportswash places i have a hard time supporting, to put it mildly.

>maybe cuz its been a while
it's a nice change of pace. i'm always watching darts with mine around christmas. it's a tradition at this point

>>84898927
>did you like it?
yup. can recomment widow's bay and hokum. they're not great, but good enough to kill some time.

>"liminal" content doesn't need plot
true, but if you make a film about it that runs in cinemas, you need something for people who expect a bit more than just cool visuals. the stuff the director made for youtube is awesome. i think you showed me that one in the mall and that was great, but not something you could just port into cinemas the way it is.

>do you think about maybe going to the cinema?
i can check if it's running near me, but i'm not sure my friends would be up for it.

>I think it's cool something like that exists
yeah. you hardly ever see passion projects of that scale get anywhere, but he actually did it.

>It doesn't even have much of a plot you just look at cool things
i'm sure there is something, but i always have a hard time getting into the deeper meaning of anything. need some youtube video-essayist to explain it to me. :p
>>
>>84898927
>I feel it's just lots of people don't question that stuff at all
exactly. that's the point. it's not like they don't have the mental capacity to question it, they just choose not to.

>we'll be cursed
we aren't already? D:

>today yep
and? how did it go?
>>
>>84899260
>you have to take those?
blood pressure, blood thinner, pain killers, IBS meds, antidepressives, some random shit that i dont even know the purpose of... thats abt it. :p dunno what is wrong with my body but i am 99% meds 1% human

>30 bucks was a bit much for now. maybe when it's on sale.
real... things always have to be so expensive...

>could be a cool game for the thread
id instantly buy it istg

>just doesn't feel right to watch something that constantly tries to sportswash places i have a hard time supporting, to put it mildly.
realllll

>it's a nice change of pace. i'm always watching darts with mine around christmas. it's a tradition at this point
lmao recently got into darts cuz of an old friend :p invited me to some match in frankfurt but... i got sick :3

I guesss
though there have been some movies like that right? but if they're niche

they might be surprised by it but you do you
>you hardly ever see passion projects
I think most people just don't have the patience for that

yep
it annoys me too
for example do you know that here in poland people think that if you open a window and have a draft on your room that horrible and unhealthy, but a fan is completely acceptable even though they're the same thing!
>we aren't already? D:
uh oh o.o
>how did it go?
it went well :D
at fort I was afraid the new tire will be too big because it has bigger knobs but turns out it fit because they take knobs into account when measuring size
it's even 1-2mil smaller than the old one but maybe it'll get a bit wider with time
Then I went on a little bikeride to test it out, it works, nothing exploded

honestly, I think people who are good at evangelizing would be the first to admit it

would of preferred if we had less Jax, more emphasis on what was going on with the Caine bit.

I think my problem is I never checked out what the community is like. My only exposure were the people at the theater who were cool (and not smelly despite what smelly looking instagram posters keep saying!)
>it's not like i care about the things
i think I was a bit harsh sounding here, but I was getting annoyed by those people who keep talking about the fandoms they don't like or think are "toxic" which itself is an annoying thing itself.
> but their ego wasn't big enough to not let the fans get under their skin
the problem with indie stuff taking off is you have people who really shouldn't be in the spotlight end up in the spotlight I suppose. I again never pay close enough attention

>dunno what is wrong with my body but i am 99% meds 1% human
i'd argue constantly being pumped full of meds is one thing. don't get me wrong, i'm sure there's a reason you have to take them, but taking them doesn't address what causes the symptoms you need them for. doctors really frustrate me sometimes.

>things always have to be so expensive...
the game is probably worth it, but there's a lot of games that are and i'd rather spread my money around a bit more and get 2 or 3 games for that price.

>recently got into darts cuz of an old friend :p invited me to some match in frankfurt but... i got sick :3
it's nice to just put on the championships at the end of the year and chill with the family. perfect sport for that. we had tickets for an event too, but it was during covid, so we didn't end up going. probably for the best. too bad you missed yours, too.

>>84899385
>though there have been some movies like that right? but if they're niche
sure, but i think they tried to make something like that one movie with the youtube guy... iron lung? hollywood is all out of ideas and they need to find something that gets the younger generations into the cinemas. guess it worked. :>

>they might be surprised by it but you do you
i'll see what i can do.

>people just don't have the patience for that
it's definitely the opposite of instant gratification. that's for sure. don't think you can do it if you don't absolutely love whatever you're working on.

>I'm sure you could make one up
true, but can't somebody else do that for me? it's so much work to think about stuff like that

>here in poland people think that if you open a window and have a draft on your room that horrible and unhealthy
we're not so different, you and i. here it's called the dreaded "durchzug". a pestilent wind most foul that brings death and decay wherever it goes. i'm pretty sure my coworkers believe that nonsense as well and that's why i they always want the doors closed. no matter how hot it is

>Bloodborne posting today I see, very nice
just a little bit. there's a scene in mad god that really reminded me of it. had more, but i didn't see those were webp images. god, i hate that format. :/

>I think people who are good at evangelizing would be the first to admit it
probably. at least you might be willing to listen to them.

>would of preferred if we had less Jax, more emphasis on what was going on with the Caine bit.
yeah. the caine stuff felt like an afterthought cause we needed to have some sort of actual ending for the series. lots of focus on the fate of a character that was already gone at that point. also didn't really need to see what the actual people the characters were based on were up to. whatever. had a good time overall. it's over now anyway.

>I think my problem is I never checked out what the community is like.
i'd say is that's why you have less of a problem ^^

>My only exposure were the people at the theater who were cool
don't know why they wouldn't be. don't think the bad actors would leave their house to watch a movie

>I was getting annoyed by those people who keep talking about the fandoms they don't like or think are "toxic" which itself is an annoying thing itself.
i get where you're coming from. it's usually just a very loud minority on social media starts to bother the creatives and other fans. i just like to read other peoples thoughts sometimes, but it hard when there's outrage to be farmed.

that sums it up pretty well. maybe creatives should take a week or two off twitter after they released something. better for your mental health in the long run.

>sounds very much like some other boards for me as well heh
i think i just check their out of habit at this point. i got better recs for every medium in this thread than on the dedicated boards.

unions seem to be an odd, clunky thing most of the time. i do see the value in them, but they can make things more complicated than it's worth for some individuals.
