>>216074530>this surely means everything that has scantily clad women is sexual fantasies!Take your meds.
>>216074559It was certainly implied, since nothing in Persona could be considered a coomer fantasy, unless you meant that scantily clad women are enough to say that.Maybe you should go back to an orange site that doesn't have people as smart as me.
>>216074582Rewatch the film and take your meds.

i watched le petit soldat yesterday as my first godard and it was okay. nothing special. the whole spy/assassin aspect was the weakest part and the relationship was a lot more interesting despite dialogues and monologues like that being completely unrealisitc, they are fun to listen to. it has more of a poem nature to it. similar to the torture scenes, and while interesting, they felt completely unrealistic and almost romanticized. where do i go from here?

Do you share a birthday with any /film/ figures (I'm very lucky as such a fan of Kitano and Cary Grant to share my birthday with both)?Sergio Leone and Mel Gibson always come to mind and I'd argue the latter is /film/ through auteur theory (The Passion, Apocalypto). I'm Gishing out
>>216078507>>216079216Tragically, I'll have to side with Mr. La Isla Bonita over our good-natured Bogan on this particular issue.I'm sufficiently mentally ill to listen to all sorts of experimental music, but not mentally ill enough to understand why anyone would derive more pleasure from listening to a Zappa-penned xylophone run over This Heat (Charles Hayward PBUH), or Joni fucking Mitchell. In fact, I really can't rationalize having a tenfold(!) preference for the "Why Does It Hurt When I Pee" man over Joni beyond severe undersocialization, and I say this as someone who genuinely likes Frank's music. For the most part. Having multiple J-pop releases rated 5 stars but no black music (be it jazz, hip-hop, or R&B), especially when your whole shtick was ripped from African-American culture (gushing over a brapper) is genuinely evil, also. No way around it.
