Trip is a good Amy parallel. She doesn't want her boring, stuffy guardian life. She wants to be free to follow Fang! Some other Sungazer can do it! That's why she loved working with him so much and wanted to get so close to him, she wanted him to whisk.her away and see the world by his side. Trip trying to befriend and redeem Fang is like Amy trying to catch and marry Sonic. It's not really gonna happen but the boys like the girls more than they let on, and it won't be entirely fruitless, with a date or a kind act here and there.
