It's not healthy for people lower on the totem pole. Yeah you could make gear take up less inventory space, but that would only shift the balance like ~30% at most. Still not enough to make taking gear worth it over even mid-tier junk like mparts or bolts.

Giving you access to long rifles in exchange for almost no armored helmets to speak of and limited armor selection. I don't use this class often as most maps don't have a position for him but when I do I run a 406mm ADAR and as much of the fantastic M995 ammo as possible.
