You know how they have captain crunch oops all berries? They should have a monhun game but it's oops all early game mons. Basically nothing past 4 star but bring back like every early game mon in the series. I just think it would be interesting to experience because in universe that's about as far as most hunters go. For long sword you're supposed to build up your spirit meter to red level and then use helmbreaker for damage, and you keep up your aggression and safety by using foresight slash, which also allows you to skip straight to spirit roundslash to instantly go up one level. You have a lot of safe tools to keep aggression like your special sheath too.

How does weapon damage work in MHW?So I've been using the bow and I have a few different ones crafted in different elements, that was getting a little annoying so I was just going to go back to using the main melee tree, but I seem to be able to craft a bone bow that can do 168 damage or a thunder bow that does 168 + 210 fire damage? So it seems like the thunder bow is the obvuous choice because it still does the same physical damage and bonus thunder damage on top? How does that work in terms of resistances if something is resistant to it do I still hit for the 168 physical damage? It works like a damage multiplier for your attacks. In general, HZV for raw damage is higher than the HZV for elemental damage.
