Is this game going to be a fad? I personally cannot tell, despite not offering much new mechanics wise im sure over time the game will fall into all the team based shooter shortfalls as matches will be handicapped by the worst player, stale metas, premade group stompfest, MMR issues etc...At this moment the game is still in its exploration phase, most people are still not use to the various hero mechanics. I suspect once the honeymoon is over im sure the playerbase will turn bitching about previous points, so it will be really interesting just how the devs will respond & just how much content they are able to pump out once they already release their predev stuff to keep people interested

Mantis has no actual counterplay aside from nuking her with iron man or headshotting her with hawkeye, both of which have counterplay as well and require skill and positioning while all Luna has to do is press a button.
