Saved so many of my companions by pushing thugs out of harms way. I really liked the shadow blade ring for role playing reasons. Not only does it go with the dark urge theme it looks fucking cool and overcomes all resistances. ABSOLUTE deadly sneak attack weapon. I loved it so much, i used a feat to gain advantage in constitution checks so I wouldnt use it.I noticed on honour mode that the game cheezes visibility; all enemies gain the bonus detect unseen bs. My thief was so good at hiding it didnt matter most of the time, but still.I wish they had the old dnd "use any item" feat for high levels. Oldfag like me loved that for baldurs gate ii, when you could use Carsomyr as a thief end game and just fucking demolish everybody in melee as a thief.Inb4 blog post; thief is fucking awesome

Did you know that many years ago, bioware was a good company? Shocking, I know. But something they did well was to have friendly and unfriendly routes for each character, and also a soft or harden route for each character, and their story reflects it. People like Alistair and Leliana remained "good", but they could be hardened or not.To be fair to bg3, of all the people to have a bit of this is surprisingly Wyll. You can guide him towards being naive and irresponsible: running around the world slaying monsters, and make him obsessed with rescuing daddy because he's not ready to lead the city. Or you can tell him to man up and step into Ulder's shoes himself and lead the city, break his pact, and become an adult with responsibilities other than his superhero roleplaying. It's actually a pretty good story fork.So the next time someone asks you to say something nice about Wyll, here you go.
