Sekiro had the ideal ratio of defensive combat and offensive combat, where you needed to be as aggressive as you were defensive in almost all boss fights. In this DLC it just feels like I can't do anything but be defensive

Helping her kill the other one will give you their gear, and the one you don't pick will softblocked so you can't complete their individual quest.
