AJ looks miserable

Granted he always does, maybe he's just one of those weird melancholic dudes who has random flashes of personality
>>
>>3294062
Probably because he took a job in America to be with his family more often, but is on the road just as much because of WWE's insane schedule. Plus he probably made more money in NJPW/indie schedule with more freedom too.

what did he mean by this?
>>

Upstanding Christian Man AJ Styles is just playing chaperone to his good friend Ric Flair's unmarried daughter. A girl can get into a lot of trouble on the road without a man to look after her and we wouldn't want Charlotte to turn into another Paige.

this fucking commentary

>jinder reveals a fucking cross brand world champ vs world champ main event match
Utter silence for like 15 seconds, then cole whimpers out an "are you kidding me"

fire these useless sacks of shit and hire some announcers that can atleast pretend to care about the product

Complain about booker all you want but he is way more enthusiastic than Cole. He would've said something along the lines of
"DIDJU HEE THAT!? WUL CHAMPION VERSUS WUL CHAMPION IT DOESN'T GET ANY BIGGER THAN THAT! *unintelligible ebonics*"

News flash: not every single little moment needs a JR "BAH GAWD" freakout

This is just Jinder challenging a man who everybody knows can easily beat him both in kayfabe and in real life. Him being WWE champ means nothing. If 2011 chicken heel WWE champion Miz challenged Brock during some boring promo, would you expect the announcers to go "OMGWTFBBQ" over it?

Geeks see Nash as that cool Chad in high school that was nice to them once. They listen to his interviews and because he's charismatic they buy into his bullshit. Never mind the fat he's got a tremendous ego as well. Find me one clip of Nash admitting he was wrong about anything and it might change my mind, but from what I've heard it always seemed to be X's fault something turned out shit.
>>
>>3293923
100% true. Without the Diesel failure (gets over as a huge badass heel and then they fuck him up by making him a smiling babyface), I'm pretty sure they would have fucked up Stone Cold as well.

This.

And I've said it before but from the McMahon's point of view, this is what they always wanted. A brand that will bring in money despite whatever the roster looks like. They don't try anymore because they don't have to.

Millionaire who should be a billionaire.
>>
>>3293772
I find it hard to believe that Vince even knows where he is half the time, let alone that he's ultimately responsible for WWE's problems

Haitch is really to blame

Five years of hot-shotting the entire North American market came home to roost. The people who enjoyed the Attitude Era are still pining for it (and influence younger fans) and the people who were turned off by it are never giving wrestling a chance. Although more disposable income from the Attitude babies now in their thirties and early forties is allowing for a "boom" on the indie circuit, there's no growth in younger fans. Unless they find a way to turn it around, things will start to look ghastly in the 2020s and WWE may collapse under its own weight as those old fans start having to spend more on healthcare and can't afford to blow money on wrestling. (The fanbase simply dying off is going to hurt as well.)

Would it work if the wrestlers had an 'off season'? Give them maybe 3 months to relax, to heal, to work out, give writers time to work on storylines, with the trade off that after those months, they're working every day? I would think that they were going to do it, it'd be the last 3 months of the years, since the Royal Rumble is in January

If he returned Sunday and went over Brock for another title run ratings would skyrocket, network subs would hit an all time high, shows would be sold out again, revenue and profit records would be set, Roman would be in the midcard and you know it.

>Trump hasn't been mentioned by WWE since he ran for election
Is this for real? It was a one-off thing, what's the controversial thing that Mike Tyson, Drew Carrey or Hugh Jackman did so they wouldn't be mentioned again?

>>3290765

I guess you haven't noticed how divisive Donald Trump is? Vince wants nothing more than to have the president and hall of famer on his show, but it would drive away lots of viewers.

>When pressed on which supplements Triple H takes to maintain his impressive physique at age 48, Palumbo raised eyebrows when he claimed that WWE allows some talent to take HGH, HCG or Testosterone Replacement Therapy, which was recently banned by UFC.
>"The good thing about wrestling is that because it's not a professional sport per se, more entertainment, they are allowed to take hormone replacement," Palumbo said.
>"So they can go to HRT places, they can get testosterone—100 mg a week, whatever they prescribe nowadays—they can get hCG, they can do hGH if they want. Those are acceptable, and a lot of the wrestlers do it. It's not for me to say who's using what, but they're very minimal doses."

>In response to an interview Triple H's nutritionist, Dave Palumbo, gave saying WWE wrestlers are allowed hormone replacement, the company sent out a statement that approximately 7-percent of talent have exemptions due to "certain medical conditions." Dave Meltzer later noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that 14-15 people have a Therapeutic Use Exemption.
