Like all great projects, you leave it behind for a while... 5 years might be a little too long, time to get back on the saddle and work on it.For those that were in the loop back in the day, this is a revival effort to bring /3/ back to the cup and even though /3/'s history in the 4CC isn't necessarily stellar, it's always a work in progress. Things have changed since the last time the team played an official match, Konami stopped making games and we've been reusing older games with mixed success, however there are tools to have the same model quality as the newer versions of Pro Evolution Soccer before the series ceased production by converting them to the older games. For those that don't even know what this is all about, the 4CC is an inter-board competition where /3/ used to compete from 2012-2015 with a revival that went from 2018-2021, the team has fallen inactive since then but if there's enough interest ITT the team will return to competition with me and my co-manager Wyvern at the helm. There are 4 cups per year named after each season featuring the Elite and Babby divisions, the second division is the entry point for new/reviving teams and with the Spring Babby Cup coming up, team registration has opened and the time is now to revive /3/.Let's go fire up Blender one more time and kick a ball around, hopefully we don't lose too badly. Fantastic game, tough result to take. For what it's worth we're thrilled the viewing public with maybe the best game in the tournament and the successful debut of Gunt, however the game itself was up and down with the attack being buttery smooth and Doomrider becoming an absolute god to always keep us within reach. The goalkeeper letting in that weird free kick didn't help either.Inexperience definitely came back to haunt us as ten men abuse dug the grave, admittedly we didn't know how to deal with it as their red card drastically changed the match and it started getting away from us, maybe parking the bus was the wrong decision but at the same time everything was going to plan until that red card. I can't promise that things will get better with the remaining schedule we have but we'll give it our best shot, our destiny is still in our hands.

I can't quite believe I'm saying it and I can promise you I didn't expect it when I saw the group we'd been drawn into. Thanks for watching and cheering for us through the groups, this is where it gets more real going into the knockouts and later the elites but we'll do the best we can to bring success and something enjoyable to watch.
What a ride, never in my wildest dreams did I think we'd be going to the Elites in our first attempt, the 15th year anniversary tournament at that. Thank you all for the support in the threads and on the stream! It's a huge shame that we couldn't bring the title home despite the incredible run we had and the teams we had to face to get there. This hurts a lot but we have to look back to how we got here. When we revived the team, you guys showed such hunger and enthusiasm that made us give that extra 10% in every game, we couldn't have gone this far without your passion and support for the team. The Summer Cup is finally upon us! The draw will be on the 5th and we're in Pot 3 as we embark on our first Summer appearance in nearly 15 years. We wanted to do a roster poll ahead of this tournament but time constraints (mainly caused by the cup being pushed back a month to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Habbo Hotel raids) we've had to shelve the idea for now. Didn't expect things to go that well. This team got eliminated from World Cup 2021 because they couldn't score ONE more goal against /tv/, well needless to say we've taken care of that. In our first Elite match since that game against /tv/, we went out there and handed /vm/ their biggest ever loss as we ran away 6-1 winners thanks to great performances by Utah Teapot, >blender and Quads Only (despite pic related) and with /trv/ vs /vp/ ending in a draw, we just need to win on Friday to qualify for only our second ever Elite knockouts.Thank you all for your support be it through drawing like the drawfriend or being present in chat, now we have to go and close it out and punch our ticket on Friday.

Not every game goes your way, I'm not gonna sit here and just go "we got PES'd lmao" because it took me way too long to make changes while we were being carved down the middle because testing data wasn't looking great, but this is our first go at the Elites and unfortunately we had to learn the hard way, specially when it had been smooth sailing up until this point. We expected a tough game because testing against /vp/ had been pretty rough and ironically enough, our worst-looking set of sliders did a great job defensively but it was too little too late. Definitely a kick in the teeth to lose like that but we still control our own destiny.Just need to get a win (or draw depending on GD) against /trv/ on Sunday to advance, there's no excuses if we don't bounce back and advance given the quality of this team and the quality of your support.

After the /vp/ game it's worth remembering that our one and only Elite campaign that reached the knockouts started with a loss and we were bottom of the group heading into the final matchday, that was the Winter 2019 run and we all know how that one turned out. Right now, we're 3rd in the group and just a point behind qualification and we only rely on ourselves to make it through to the knockouts.We control our destiny and it's up to us to seize it, no excuses for not pulling through even if /trv/ are a very solid team with plenty of experience. I just don't understand. Testing was a sea of green, we had multiple options on every preset and we still got embarrassed out there. It just doesn't add up, we even had more shots than them. I will admit that I will be quite busy during Autumn so this is a nightmare scenario as I won't be able to test like I have done for the last two cups, don't expect too much from us and specially on a new game with us going in blind because they'll probably just cook up some random bullshit for the rules. On the whole I don't think we did that badly and I'd like to say we put up a respectable showing. There's much for us to learn and we'll be looking to go back to the elites in the future.

Alright guys, it's been a couple of days since the disappointing weekend of divegrass for us and we would like you to have your say. Specifically we are talking about the future status of Meme Man, our backup keeper. While he did put in a respectable performance during our first match against /vp/ with six saves, his quite incredibly poor performance in our second and ultimately crucial match of the weekend against /trv/ is more concerning. Even with an orange condition he was not able to prevent /trv/ from taking a commanding and fatal lead, scoring four goals before half time and only managing a quite miserable two saves from seven shots on target. Now, granted, he's not had a particularly long tenure on the team, only appearing in five matches so perhaps our judgement is a little hasty. What would you all like to see happen? Do we take his stupid ass off the roster for that performance, do we move him somewhere else on the pitch and give him a chance to redeem himself or do we keep him in goal for a little longer to see if he can sort his act out a little bit and get a larger data sample to help inform any decision?If the decision is made to cast him into the recycle bin of unfinished projects is there a player in particular you would like to see turn their hand to goalkeeping? Current thinking is maybe since we have Retro Renders as a new player who will change his appearance depending on our opponent and that the conditions lottery only allowed him to play once this cup, maybe moving him into goal will increase the chances of him being sent out to play. Alternatively we could pursue bringing in an entirely new player to take Meme Man's position. We would very much like to gather your thoughts and opinions regarding this matter. If the preference is to bring on some new blood for Autumn then we're very much open to your suggestions and ideas since this isn't just for us but for you guys.

Ok, after a bit of thinking and discussing we've come up with something that will hopefully please everyone and not tread on the toes of others too much.The idea is that we will introduce a game engine rep into the roster, rather than just straight up bringing in Unity-chan we will have three different player models that can be changed on a per-match basis or something like that, the specifics of rotation can be worked out later. We will have Jazzy, B.P. who ties in the more technical blueprint side of Unreal and of course, Unity-chan who we could bring in for matchups against /vg/ for example. We won't be using exactly the same model that /vg/ uses, she won't have the VR headset for starters and we'll look at keeping her in our kits so there's absolutely no confusion if they do go head-to-head. We think that having the three different models will help add an extra bit of variety to our matches.As before your thoughts are absolutely welcome and hopefully this is a good compromise.
