>Have to sift through millions of irrelevant AI voice generated pajeet tutorials on the most simple workflow need in Blender
>Finally find something good
>Follow procedural texture node tutorial
>Get every value and node exactly as it's shown in the video
>Finally get to plug it all into the material output node
>Instead of looking like the tutorial, the model turns completely black
>Trying to learn procedural texturing has now been derailed and I have to waste an entire afternoon troubleshooting because this software was made by the antichrist
Open source was a mistake and Blender trannies should be lynched.

wanting software to work is not a big ask

If it works fine for the tutorials and not for you it's your fault, not the software's

why don't you get a job if you like work so much

absolutely baffling

you failed from the beginning

Can you make nice textures in Blender? It seems pretty limited. Using multiple vertex colours is a fun solution but i don't know how you'd get to 20% of what people do in substance designer. Really what i'm saying is, i should probably buy a sub to substance designer

You can. I just use a pirated copy of substance because it's easier and gives better results. That's not to say it's impossible though. Like most things it comes down to being a skill issue.
You watch a professional artist color something in using kids crayons or the kind of markers that are $2 for 3000. It looks professionally done because they have the skill to do it. Other people who lack the skill to do it complain it's only because they don't have a full set of Copics.
