Partly by writing a lorebook/card beforehand, but also just as I go in chat. A lot of it is set in our modern day irl world, but there’s a twist like legalized slavery, mandatory breeding laws, etc. As for mind control I do classics like finding a magical ring or experiencing a reality rewrite over night.
