Determined to finish the mission they gathers some explosive substances into the chamber with the hopes to do enough damage to destroy everything... It succeeds at a great cost... But in that dying moment bathed in blood and ash their rage and regret is great enough to illicit a reaction from the equally angry corpse of the dragon matriarch... their armor begins to fuse with her chest and beneath it a new heart begins to form pumping them full of life but also transforming them...
