It's more like a combination of him changing his artstyle with generally putting in less effort per image. The vast majority of his current stuff is relatively quick and dirty sketches done for his Patreon with high quality renders being on a much slower trickle. To his credit, he's practically a machine compared to most other Patreon artists (for what that's worth.)
