First two sound like okay dating sims, but I generally associate dating sims with poor quality and cringeworthy writing, but the deckbuilder does sound great! Still, in my mind if you want shortstacks in game and you're playing some guy you are limiting yourself to scenarios which involve him meeting shortstacks. If your main character is a shortstack then you can put her in any scenario since shortstack is already built-in.I would prefer an action platformer where you play as a cute goblin collecting coins to unlock scenes with sextoys and monsters than one where you play as some dude collecting coins to impress goblins. I would prefer a Hack'n'Slash where you play as Poppy over one where you are some dude with Poppy as a companion.Maybe it's lack of imagination. I think it's just different taste. Don't get me wrong! If someone makes a game that's basically Helltaker but with goblins instead of demons I'll still play it ten times over! Alright /ssg/ I've come to three different ideas for how I can make my dwarf OC for some history and current motivation.>Option 1Exiled from clan for murdering her sister's betrothed. Soon to be husband was planning on taking the secrets of the clan's runesmithing and mass produce them, making them cheap, low quality products that would bring shame to the clan's good name. Long standing grudge, marriage was a cover to get back at OC's clan.OC now has powerful rune empowered rifle and wanders about coming into contact with the forces of darkness seemingly at random, but may not be random encounters at all.>Option 2>>9287066Something along these lines here. Motivation is to keep moving and stay ahead of the grudge settlers each clan sends after her. Makes money by putting her body to use.>Option 3A blue collar miner or ship breaker who gets caught up in a corpo conspiracy and ends up being part of some clandestine two man cell.>Option 4Wandering rune priestess out doing the work of putting down evil wherever she finds it. May also be a space cop.I think I have some more ideas to play around with and forge into something solid.
