Does anyone here know anything about electric skateboards? I'm looking at some on Craigslist for $200 each. One is a longboard, and the other is much smaller. I don't know anything about skateboards, but I assume the larger one would be easier for a beginner.I usually walk to work and it takes around 25 minutes, but if I buy one of these, it should be much much faster.
>>34550525>electricI hope you take your time to practice changing speeds (faster and slower) because even if you've got skateboard experience, the balancing of momentum can feel awkward.>larger one would be easier for a beginnerAs with skateboards in general, yes.
>>34550550I have basically zero skateboard experience, but I was thinking I could practice around my neighborhood at like 2 AM, when no one else is around.
>>34550525Just lay flat on your stomach when you ride it
>>34550525Just get an ebike retard
>>34550897I live on the second floor of my building, and there isn't any bike storage space on the first floor, so I'd have to haul it up and down the stairs every day. I want a skateboard because they're lighter and easier to carry. also fuck you for calling me a retard and not helping.
the number of people I've seen get yeeted off these in the city is hilarious. go for it if you want OP but understand that at least 97% of the people you encounter will viscerally hate you on sight
>>34550962Just get a scooter then. If you don't know how to skateboard learn on a regular longboard before you introduce electric speed and knock all your teeth out.
>>34550525Electric unicycle.https://youtube.com/shorts/RWaRverZkrEOf any electric vehicles this is the one I would have, except they are illegal here. There are various models from tame 20km/h versions up to 100km/h ones. Similarly you can get ranges from 50km up to 150km. You get what you pay for.
