I'm single and depressed. Is there any point in pursuing a relationship? I feel like if I did I'd still be depressed and I would just drag someone else down with me.
no there's no point. if you're a man in a relationship you're the leader. i.e. for a woman to even be interested in a relationship she's going to have to like where you're leading her and as a result how you make her feel. being a needy sadsack looking for a relationship to fill a perceived void in your life makes you the opposite of relationship material.not trying to be harsh, that's just how it is. there's more to life than dating a woman. before you take care of someone else you should be taking care of yourself. figure out what other things may be bothering you and try to fix them. value yourself more. improve your social skills. these things will make you someone that others will naturally want to be around.
ask yourself “does i need to have attention from another person?” that will be answer for your question
