If you had a little daughter say 4 years that thought it was funny to lift up her dress or shirt to reveal her bare upper body, at what age would you tell her to stop doing that because it gets inappropriate and what would you tell her when she asks why?
>>34552132I would tell her at around 3 or 4 to stop doing it in public because it is not polite to be shirtless in public.
>>34552636>she says "whyyyyyy"? And starts cryingWat do?
>>34552132No fun allowed!
>>34555416Say>because evil people will hurt you and do nasty things to youYou know, scare her into modesty.
As a future dad of daughter>It's indecent. You don't see me or your mother being shirtless in publicI found that with kids, the best way is to be direct, simple and unargumentative. They learn by seeing and mimicking, what dad or mommy does. You can't and don't exactly come with arguments and carefully constructed dialogues with kids, but overall it's better to reinforce good behavior than prevent bad behavior.>we dress nicely for this/that occasion>It's cold, we dress well/etc>It's too sunny, you'll get a burnKids are not dumb, it's the society and the discourse of people that are destroying any sense of normalcy
