My body and mind are in a constant state of homeostasis
>Hard time growing muscle or improving athletic technique
>Hard time learning and memorizing things
>Hard time adjusting to things
>Hard time finding willpower to put effort into things because I end up failing either way

I wish the answer was just basic retardation and lacking athleticism but both smart (have a friend that sticks to me like gum with a clinically proven IQ of 130+) and athletic people seem to expect a lot from me and hold me in high regard. I don't know what to do.

I'm bad at easy things too. I took twice the time to learn how to drive in comparison to the average, and I'm still not a decent driver. Driving a manual car is hell, let's not even get into that. I forget things everyone else remembers and I need so much longer for everything than anyone else and I'm still seemingly worse than others. Yet somehow I'm also a uni tutor and in my masters program soon, and people like me and trust me. I don't get it.

Speed isn't the only virtue. There's also diligence and retainment. When it comes to learning and developing into a good person, speed is probably the least important. Better to learn a lesson slowly and retain it forever than to learn it quickly than lose it immediately.
