there is confidence and courageousness. confidence comes from knowing yourself, a long process of learning who you are, what you are capable of, your limitations, etc. courage comes from conviction, conviction comes from faith. believe in yourself, and trust in God's will.i think rite of passages are important. not to necessarily qualify them as a "man", but secure them in a position where they understand that they are more capable than they have given themselves credit for. this overcomes a sense of learned helplessness and helps the individual to realize a vital source of strength which they will be able to use as the concrete, lived through experience, that tells them their present struggles are nothing in comparison to what they had already overcome. get that dawg in you woof woof

Yep, done that. I faced a moment once in a confrontation with a person where i was potentially in danger, had time to think and the choice to run or confront it. I realised that either way, it could escalate. But more important than the currebt situation was knowing that whatever i choose will become a neural pathway that can easily be followed again. And i knew that in the grander scheme of my life, the only energy that can save me is to confront/accept a potential fight and loss. So i did that. It was fine, and that experience did help me in the future. When you are confronted with a tough choice to make, think about what energy your future needs from you. Your choices do change you and ur emotional range.
Put urself in danger i guess
