How do I develop thicker skin? I know what I have to do in most social situations but it just gets me man. I can physically feel my body losing its shit even if I try to tell myself it's fine.
Realize that the only voice in your head that gives you insecurity is your own. What you attribute people potentially thinking of you in your head are actually phantasms of your own mind. As for other people, they don't have value unless they are beneficial to you. I don't mean that in some dark triad ruthlessness, I mean their opinions mean nothing on your life or experience.
