How do you get good at having conversations? I don't know how to talk to people at all, I have nothing to say all the time and I'm rather sure everyone finds me creepy
>>
Talk about whatever that's appropriate

Sounds counter intuitive, but spend more time by your self doing nothing with no distractions. Maybe do something mindless like walking or chores. Your brain will naturally pull things outta thin air to think about, you'll get new ideas and figure out your opinions on things. This translates to better conversation skills.

I had no clue how to talk to people.

Read this book and practiced.

Changed my life.

Link to free ebook?

But do you ever make yourself sit there with just your thoughts? Can't have a conversation with someone else if you can't even have one with yourself
>>
>>34565021
Of course I do

Invest in ur future bro
>>

Nevermind I just asked Gpt to summary the book but for the most is just normalfag advices
>>
>>34565049
That is the answer bro, its just application of normalfag advice in daily life. Social skills aren't really learnt through reading. Its through practicing what you read. Theres not some "secret jutsu" that will make you good at socializing... its putting your neck on the fucking guillotine and cold approaching real people in real life. Good luck.

Not that I don't spend time with normalfags but whatever
>>
>>34565049
>>34565045
Just google the book but put pdf at the end of it
>>
>>34565067
That's what I did
>>
>>34565063
Do the normalfags you spend time with have good conversational skills... what do you think?
>>
>>34565071
They talk that's for sure, I just stare and say nothing
>>

Okay, so you don't talk to ur friends at all...?

Just kind of sit there....

Maybe what you need isn't social skills, but motivation.

>Disconnect from all media and sit in a quiet corner irl

>Ask yourself- whats the worst possible reality I could be in 5 years from now if I don't develop good social skills?

>Imagine the most absurd extreme, the worst possible happening. No sex, no relationship, no friends.

>The more painful the visual the stronger it works as a fulcrum

>Visualize dying elderly in a hospital with no friends, no family, no one who knows or cares about. Staring at the wall at the age of 81 dying of brain cancer in a quiet dark room... no one around you.... no one to talk to... dont even know how to talk to the nurse...

>How would that feel?

>Imagine and visualize as intensely as possible. Do you want to feel horror and loneliness at the hour of death?

Focus on discussing topics that genuinely interest the person you want to connect with.

100 year old vaudeville joke:

Tourist in New York, to passer-by: "How do I get to Carnegie Hall?"
New Yorker: "Practice."
>>
look into jaunty.org
it's literally a gym for socializing
