I'm gonna start working two jobs, one part-time, the other full-time, and both pretty labor intensive. I'll have around 50 hours a week, spread across 4-5 days.
I've had 50+ hours before, but only working one job, spread between 6 days.
From anons that were or still are in a similar boat, what was your experience and how difficult was it for you?

I do 37.5 hours at my day job and 12 at my side hustle, 9-5 Monday to Friday working in a factory then 8-8 saturday working at my dad's mechanic shop.
About £2000/month salary after tax and £640/month cash
Side hustle is cash in hand so I don't need to worry about getting taxkiked for having two jobs, as in my country doing so above board increases your tax liability to a comical extent.
Losing a Saturday is worth having a couple of hundred in the pocket every weekend, skipping the bank account in my opinion.
My day job isn't particularly demanding, I just monitor a machine and QC its output most of the time, but if it were I probably wouldn't want to do the Saturday too.

Working hard for other people won't make you rich, it will only deteriorate your health while your boss buys a bran new car each year.

You try living on 2k a month alone without your tendiebots, see how that goes for you

I work 80 hours a week. I hate it. I want to die.

I don't get tendies. Sorry, are you really working just to make ends meet? You should go back to your parents house and use their cars if they have any. Nothing to be ashamed, deteriorating your health is not good though. Just go back to your parents house, save up money, and study instead of break your back for 600 bucks.

I'm not a zoomer, so I don't suffer from this collective delusion that any kind of manual labour will have me in a wheelchair by 50.
>Just go back to your parents house
I'm not a zoomer, so I would feel rightly ashamed to saddle my parents who deserve to enjoy their retirement in peace with a waste of space dependent who should have been out of their hair decades ago.
>Save up money and study
I already earn around the median average salary in my country doing unskilled work in a very cheap COL area. I live in a paid-off apartment, own three cars and all the toys I could ever want.
I stand to gain nothing but stress entering the rat race at this point. Fuck that.

I worked 70 hours a week for 6 years. But my dayjob was mostly at a desk, and my side gig was mostly production of hardware, packaging orders, and running a 3d print farm.

I had to switch to a kneeling chair at work to avoid getting chronic lower back tension because I would get sore from the side gig, and sitting sedentary during my dayjob was messing up my posture. I also got regular massages.
I woke up at 5:30am every day (even weekends) and fell asleep at 11pm. The most time consuming side gig work had to take place on Saturday afternoons or Sunday mornings.

I missed out on a lot of time with my kids in that timeframe, especially all of the major developmental milestones for my 2nd kid.

I thought you were a OP, but you're the first poster. Good for you though. But you seem too materialistic.

Can't argue.
People say buying things doesn't make you happy, but it sure as fuck feels like it

I understand how you feel, did your parents struggle financially as you grew up?

Nice, yeah I should try to do the same. I'm off sunday and Monday and my current full time gig is easy as pie so it's not like I'm dead tired.

That's not a flex, that's depressing and sad. It means you have no life and no passion.

maybe labor intensive is better than very stressful work, but remember you will have almost no free time, its pretty hard. I myself worked even more hours in ER, but I will now lessen work hours, because I'm exhausted.

welfare state is bloated where I live and job market is shit, not like I have many options.
I'm just trying to get approved for an apartment lease and maybe get some transferable skills.

>labor intensive is better than very stressful work
hopefully these jobs aren't as stressful as my last one.
my employer was chill, but it was hectic and several times a night I would wake up still thinking I was at work.

I'll probably shorten my hours too, one I get some large paystubs I can show a landlord.
