My company gives free CPS study materials valued at 3k to all who receive full-time offers. I don’t need it since I already have my CPA. One of our interns, who I became a little closer to, did not get a full-time offer — he was the only intern not to and it was due to him taking time off for family issues. Should I give him my study materiel package tomorrow on his last day? I tried selling it online and received low-ball offers, so at most I can get for it is maybe 1k, but I thought of just giving it to him because I also went through family issues and felt bad that he only received another internship offer rather than a full time offer due to family issues

>>34573358Yeah why not. It was free to begin with, selling used stuff is annoying, and it's a nice thing to do.
also voting yes
>>34573358Can you elaborate? Could you lose something in the process?
>>34573439>>34573867>>34574876Welp, I gave him the study materials for his last day. I asked him beforehand if he had study materials, and he said he was looking around and trying to find a good deal because he wants to spend his summer studying. I offered him my study materials, and he offered to pay me for them, but I declined. He was thanking me over and over and said he is going to pay it forward and help someone else the way I helped him. He ask for my phone number as well and said he wanted to stay in touch with me. Glad to have given it to someone who was this appreciative. I worked with him since january and he was genuinely nice --- I was closer to him than all the other interns.
