how do i solve my twitching thumb?

i recently noticed my right thumb has been involointary twitching on its own for a few days now
i thould it would dissapear quickly just from resting my hand and not doing anything with it for a while but its been a few days and nothing has changed
i'm going to go to a doctor appointment for an unrelated issue on tuesday
how long do these usually take to heal?
i think it was caused by overuse of my thumb on a tv remote

Try putting ice on your forearm and searching 'rsi recovery stretches' on youtube.
