Do the words "fun" and "young" rhyme?

No.

/ʌ/ (fun) — your tongue sits low and central in your mouth, jaw fairly open.

/ʊ/ (young) — your tongue is higher and pulled back

Repeat them over and over and become conscious of your mouth. The shift you feel in your tongue rising and your lips rounding is two different vowels.

I think that's what's called a "half rhyme".
>>
It's an assonance rhyme

This guy gets it
