Just want to know what life is like without TV>How does that affect your health?>What do you do instead?>Is it worth it? Its just TV does not seem to be worth it anymore, there isn't anything new, not to mention you have to pay for all these subscriptions. I already know what life is like without social media & video games & I enjoy it, but life without TV is unknown to me. I hate when I use TV to cope while I should be doing something else that I am not.
>>34577272For Your Information>Life without video games Never had a gaming console because I was poorfag, did play games on computer like roblox or minecraft & various others until I was 15, simply grew out of it. I listen to music as my primary form of entertainment.>Life without social media Quit social media(Discord) 2 years ago, honestly worth it. You have more free time & privacy to yourself, not to mention you aren't emotionally manipulated by the algorithm. However most people will think of you as weird for not having social media & would even criticize you for that.
Life is great. I have more free time, which I spend reading, gardening and playing music, if I'm not in the mood for socialising. I do keep a TV in my house in case I'm having someone over but I literally haven't been asked to turn it on since 2024I pirate about one show a year and don't really watch anything else. I only watch the show if I'm literally too tired to do anything else. This year's show was the Sopranos. I started it in August and only finished it two weeks ago.
>>34577325Decent. The only channels on TV that are worthy these days are the weather & history channels. How much hours do you spend on other things that you originally used for TV?
>>34577272I don't think my opinion really counts because I play vidya, but as far as like cable television or streaming services, everything just looks and sounds like propaganda to me. The main purpose of television is to subvertly alter the viewers opinion or beliefs. I don't really miss watching TV and all the best movies have already been made, so I can just go back and watch something good if I feel the inclination.
>>34577272Alright, I have more free time to post on here.
>>34577272I have not watched TV in many years. It just doesn't appeal to me. I tried Netflix for a month and all of the shows were disgustingly violent or depressing.
