>So powerful that it can lead you to end your life.>So powerful that it can lead you to start truly living.I've seen incredible men and women doing incredible things, through emotions like love or rage, just by willness, internal factors or external factors they are conscious about.I already know I can improve my emotions, actions and discipline through these factors, but I want to ask you about your experiences and anything I'm missing about this, I'm really young and I need time, but also knowledge from others.

>>34580657You need to know that shame is the mind killer. Try to address any and all shame in your life and you will be free
>>34580657You have to unleash your Will to Power, as defined by Nietszche.Teach yourself and apply in each and every action. You will see changes, each time you exert it. Those changes will accumulate over time, and there's no limit.

>>34580657I'd recommend reading As a Man Thinketh, by James Allen. Also, something to note is that a healthy and powerful mind is one that has freed itself from the passions, because the passions are always dissipatory. Anger, for example, is never going to help you reach a goal. It can only be an obstruction that lowers your overall competence. Anything that can be done while angry can be done better while calm and deliberate.

Your mind set can control alot.
>>34582162sounds sociopathic but you do you. i do feel that being able to control your emotions does create and present the level of mental strength one possesses, but the absence of emotions is literally crazy - also the reason i don't care for the pharma soup of antidepressants, prob not good to dull your senses on purpose.
>>34582452It's not, the idea that the passions are the cause of evil behavior is the classical view that spans back over 2,500 years shared by everyone from Socrates to Swedenborg. The thing to note, though, is that good and humane qualities such as love, mercy, compassion, sympathy and generosity aren't passions at all because they come from reason, and they're the natural state of a person who's free from the slavery of passion. Passions are only the lower impulses that corrode reason and charity, and lead to selfishness.

>>34580657You need to learn to dissociate feelings and needs from your thoughts and actions or else you'll be controlled by them like a puppet.Focus on the actions first, basically do the shit you know is good for you even if you don't "feel" like it or if you think of excuses to not do it.
