Honestly idk if I should even post this. So I have a small YouTube channel with like a very intimate subscriber amount. But I love doing it and I love to just yap so it works. Basically I make dressmaking and sewing stuff. I'm a tranny and there's not a lot of sources for transfem specific dressmaking content. Honestly in the beginning back when I started it during covid it was perfect like, YouTube for some reason promoted my channel and people were chill and comments were really lovely but in the past 12 months or so a huuuuuge influx of troll commenter that started flooding my comments and started dislike bombing my content. Honestly at first it was like manageable but now it's not even fun anymore to make content. For some reason I had way more faith in humanity and I'm seeing it crumbling down as we speak. I disabled comments on every single one of my videos and it just sucks because I like reading comments and all the positive and constructive things people say and I love that I was able to help even just one person who was like me and wanted to dress more confidently. I'm actually this close to deleting my whole channel. I deleted some of my videos already because it was just unbearable and YouTube makes creators unavoidably obsess over likes. I don't know what to do. The channel meant a lot to me because I literally started it after I dropped out of high school because of bullying and stuff and it was a place for me to just channel all my brain power into instead of being depressed and anxious all day. Now honestly its coming full circle and the channel is causing me to become depressed and anxious. Like I used to almost never cry that often but I'm starting to cry a lot now because of the channel
