>2 internships, marketing degree, portfolio, and own website, nothing since.
>I’ve tried various pieces of advice, but none work:
>Try getting a career foothold at a dedicated firm. It’s more fruitful than applying to Coca-Cola and expecting them to let you do their marketing
I’ve applied to the all biggest firms in my area and are on their talent mailing list.
>Volunteer to do marketing for a business you're passionate about to build up experience.
I’ve reached out to them offering to help for free and none of them got back to me. How can they not even be bothered with free?
>Attending marketing conferences/conventions

It’s like they’re purposely trying to filter out ppl like me so the seniors don’t have to deal with ppl hoping to make a living. Must be so hard to pull the ladder up from under them.

What am I to do? “jUsT kEeP tRyInG bRo”

Yeah, the job economy is hard and few my age have one, but how is that actionable advice?
