I've always held the belief that childless millennials were a scourge on humanity and having a wholesome tradcath family was the way to go. But now I'm thinking about it and I'm not so sure I want a kid. Sure, it's nice to follow tradition and have something to do when you're 40 and have a greater connection to something but this doesn't feel like reason enough to have children. Especially when there's already 8 billion people on Earth, everything's getting worse all the time, I have multiple mental illnesses (autism, depression, BPD though I'm in DBT for this one) I'd rather not pass down and I don't feel confident enough in myself to raise a human life to be a fully functioning member of society. Is it bad to say I'd rather make video games that are important to me that conceive a mentally ill person in the horrible world we live in? One thing that gets to me sometimes is I never asked to be born and I don't want my kid to feel that same way. Am I a satanic libtard or is it okay for me not to have kids?
