it's illegal in the states unless you disclose it in your bio.. even then I think OF says the AI has to be "based on" a real person, so it knows it's not stealing data from other people or some shit.. that was a while ago tho when I looked into it

if you're outside the US then go for it I guess

when I did use instagram I saw AI profiles with thousands of followers (probably all 3rd worlders and bots) despite it clearly being AI and saying so in the bio
