This evening I asked my mom if she was okay with her (hand)washing a few clothes for me that I have to bring with me back to the university town where I'm doing postgrad. She was OK with it.

She's 60 years old though and she often ends up sleeping late doing laundry. My younger brother is also very aware of this and made it very clear that I should just take the dirty clothes with me there and have them cleaned by a laundromat on my regular Saturday laundry schedule. He also told my mom that she should rest. He would clearly have been pissed if I just let my mom do the washing.

You imposition her to offer. She did not offer. Just do your own damn laundry, lazy parasite. You should be offering to help her.

Bro is a grown man making his SIXTY year old mom do his laundry. What the hell are you busy doing that you can’t do it yourself?
