As someone that likes travelling but hasn't done it that much and want to do it with a girlfriend in the future, I am put off when I talk to girls about potentially doing this and they already visited so many places already. Some straight up just solo travelled to over 10 countries. To me its something I'd happily "save myself" to experience with a partner for the first time. I think it would be super fun to do together. If she's already like "omg I already went there tho" to every suggestion I make its a major turn off and makes me wanna stop talking to her altogether.

It's a topic I can't relate to unless I've also been there, so bringing it up is mostly just talking at me and expecting me to be impressed.

Traveling is also really expensive. Flights, hotel rooms, constantly eating out, constantly paying for local travel. If you travel a lot and make it a core part of your personality, then I think you're gonna be an expensive woman.

Men want to be the more experienced partner in the relationship. They want to be admired and respected. A well-traveled woman is just like a woman with a very high powered career. Unless you are a turbo giga chad you can't bring anything to the relationship that she doesn't have or hasn't had in the past. In that case what is the point? She will never respect you as a man. The women who are jet-setting all over the world while also being extremely beautiful and wealthy are not "average women". You are talking about well above average women while very likely being a below average man yourself. It's not hard to take some time off, get together with some of your boys (or go yourself) and travel a bit. I'm not even talking about flying around the world, just see some new things in your own country or your own state.

I'd push back on this a little. This can be a lot more difficult for people than you think. I have some friends, but none of them have any interest or the financial freedom to go anywhere at all. And I don't think that is uncommon these days.

Anecdotal, but back in my mid-20s, I casually dated this girl who was always traveling to EDM festivals with her friends.

Her whole philosophy was, "I'll only be young once, might as well enjoy it." I thought it was stupid, but hey, it wasn't my money. Talking from experience. I had a gf that was starting her “career” on traveling. We traveled together to a beach city and all the fucking day was taking photos in different poses in her bikini.
