My girlfriend died 5 years ago. I knew her since i was 9 and we were best friends and extremely close to each other. We met online and just clicked after that and we were in the same city and just met up all the time after that. After her death i just became depressed and basically a sex addict trying to fill the void she left me. While I tried to move on with girls both in relationships and sexually, they just don't feel the same as her. I even jerk off to her pictures from time to time and i feel sick and disgusted as a result.

Should i go to therapy or cold turkey? i feel like the first option will be a waste of time
