Full body paralysis: This is my biggest fear. A fate worse than death, and you can't even put yourself out of your misery since you can't move. Fuck that.

Mentally disabled: Retarded, full blown autism, brain damage, stroke... No point living if you don't have a functioning brain. But as with paralysis, can't even end your own miserable existence without a brain.

Aside from those, I can't think of a reasonable reason to do it. Money issues, lost love, blind, missing limbs... you're not done for yet. Taking an early exit is a waste of your potential.

Start small. Comically small. Pick up one piece of trash. Do one push-up. Spend 1 minute in the sun. Make *the smallest possible movement* in the direction of self-improvement.

Repeat daily. Make larger movements when you feel like it. You'll be surprised how far you can get just by doing more than nothing, even if just barely more than nothing.

I tried to kill myself but couldn't. It wasn't even because of hope, it was like the abort lever was rusted shut. It was pure mechanics that prevented me from doing it. Not only was making the preparations to do it was hard, but actually doing it was impossible for me. Everyone kept telling me too with such disappointing looks that I tried to take the easy way out, but it wasn't easy at all. The easy way would have been telling everyone else to fuck off and die, and that's when I realized that people who think suicide is cowardly and selfish are the ones who are actually cowards and selfish, because if they didn't want you to kill yourself they would have also done the easy thing of listening to you and treating you with respect, but to them violence and death is easier than basic human decency.

Now anytime I start to loose hope or grt overwhelmed to where I want to just die, I take the easy way out. I just drop it and leave, let them die.

Suicide is a social conception which is not universally shared.

In many cultures a death in battle is not considered to be a suicide, even if it serves no military purpose. In other cultures the abstance from eating and drinking is seen in the context of transcendence. In others people who can't support themselves die to avoid being a financial burden.
Sometimes it's seen as a payment of a debt of honour, particularly when someone has failed in their duty. Sometimes it's to avoid the collective embarrassment of some kind of sham trial or political humiliation.
In others there are practices which are incredibly dangerous, so whether or not someone hoped to live or die is left unanswered, many duels were fought on the basis that the challengers didn't care whether they died or not. In other cases it was tied to the belief that the person who died would become or regain connection to others who had died previously, or the death was required at a specific time or place to reach the afterlife.

Some people have the individual view that they will be reborn, not actually die. I'm fairly sure they all died, but who knowns.

1- Most issues change and improve with time.

2-Human decency. If youbare suicidal it's probably because you had/persived as having a bad life, to end such a sad life in such a sad way is tragic.

3- Pain. Anyone who tells you the humam bidy is fragile is wrong. They clearly never tried to kill themselves. Human bidy is extremely difficult to kill, super durable and will keepnyou going even when it shouldn't or you want to. Trust me, that paired tk a societybfocused on perseving life no mattar what you need a lot of trauma. Like literal trauama as in blunt damage to make things work.
