This guy I have been playing video games online with for the past ~3 weeks was really chill and cool for like the first two weeks but after that when we start losing games or making mistakes, he yells a lot.

I don't actually really blame him for being angry sometimes since he's over double my elo but when I do something wrong he'll yell what I'm supposed to do instead. This shit is really annoying and I think I'd rather not play anymore.

Any ideas?

In real life you cut ties and stop messaging/replying, ideally after having a conversation with the person on why you can't be friends. If it's online just delete him and find better people. Idiot dudes who yell because of games are the norm so don't feel like you're missing out by cutting him, there are better people out there.
