The only reason that outside reassurance helped me is because I'm overly reliant on peoples perspective of me. But it has decreased over time. I'm only saying what has worked for me, and generally outside validation is not a great solution. But sure, finding someone in your league could help.I'm not sure what will personally help you in the long run, but negative self talk by putting yourself down will not do that for sure. What you can do is better yourself, take care of your looks (by doing things within reach) as I said before. Be confident in something you do and not some random physical feature you have. One of the most attractive things you can have as a male is confidence in yourself. The internet ruined our perception of ourselves and we became hypercritical of every little detail, and I'm sure you are a victim of that too. Escape that mindset.
