you need to make yourself noteworthy enough so...learn! there are plenty videos, books and courses (free as well) to learn coding and how cybersecurity works google is your friend
when you'll have consolidated the basics, open a github account and start practicing by building projects of any sort, at worst you're training, at best potential recruiters consider it a plus

Easiest way to get into cyber security without a degree is trying for a defense contracting or government job. At MINIMUM you need a Security+ Comptia certification for places to hire you.

I wil also say most places now don't give a shit about degrees, they mostly care about certifications and a security clearance. So unless you're already been in the military to get a free clearance, stack up as many certs as you can. I'm currently going for a CCNA and JNCIA certs after I renew Sec+.

Get a helpdesk job and see if they'll sponsor some CompTIA certs. Build a homelab.
