why, whenever I say what I think or how I feel, do people call me stupid, wrong or just don't even get me in the first place? It's like I always have to select the standard dialogue option to not get immediately seen as a retarded weirdo.
Not everyone like to have their worldview challenged and it work both ways. If this happens every time, perhaps it is time to reevaluate your way of seeing things and find out why you feel the way you feel. You might also haven't found like minded people with whom you can feel easy to talk to yet. When someone say you are wrong - ask them why? Why do they think you are wrong and their answer might either show broader perspective on the discussed issue that might change your mind or you can disagree and tell why to them. It might be enlightening for both parties. Calling someone stupid is just stupid again ask why it is stupid? Also remember that conversations are a social construct and sometimes standard dialogue at the beginning is required, so both parties could ease up and eventually share their "weirdness" with each other. Like a boiling frog technique. You need to slowly rise the temperature.
>>34622210sounds stupid>>34622293I don't get it
>>34622210Communication.It's the difference between just saying that word and telling you that the content of the message is just as important as how it's delivered. You're not getting into specifics but that's the most obvious shortcoming you could have that would result in those sorts of situations. It'd probably be worthwhile for you to look into emotional intelligence.
>>34622368This guy is a retarded weirdo.
>>34622379See? This guy gets it.
>>34622210>do people call me stupid, wrong or just don't even get me in the first place?Probably because you are stupid, which leads you to badly explain things that are plain wrong to begin with.
>>34622210EVERYONE has "weird" opinions on something or other. Most people learn not to thrust them into general casual conversations but reserve them for people they can be sure will be interested or sympathetic.
>>34622560I mean, I studied physics and maths so I'm somewhat aware that the notion of 'true' and 'false' is kinda pointless for any statement that isn't well-defined and can't be proven in some axiomatic system...Thus I truly struggle to see how people can think someone is 'right' or 'wrong' with their opinions or personal experiences. I feel like it's mostly that it contradicts someone else's personal experience or some arbitrary societal 'norm' which isn't based on a kind of shared experience or plain authoritative doctrine.>>34623413I know how to do that too, but it's boring... I'd rather not talk than small-talk and watch out to not step on other people's feet all the time.
>>34623546Stupid shit like this is probably why they think you're stupid.
>>34623546Stop talking like a fucking pseud.
>>34622210nobody cares how/what you feel.only what you can do for them
