In 2026 it seem impossible

The e-commerce meta is a shit ton of advertising both as research for what works and what doesn't work but also as a means for constant reach. You don't want 1 or 2 adds, you want 20 different ones. Naturally that takes a lot of effort or a professional team behind, but things like being on all social medias grinding constant content is the way essentially.
Regardless you can't just abstract a business model by simply paying for customers, even companies that do that have actual strategies to make that sustainable and profitable.
Go back to the drawing board and come up with a proper business plan. If you had a good product it shouldn't be hard to find your audience and convince them that they should buy it, and if it's not a good product them all you have to do is to convince them harder.

That makes sense. One problem I have is that I also work full-time and am trying to build ecom to gain freedom. Agencies usually ask for several thousand per month. However, I was able to find an Indian agency that agreed to work for 500$. On a zoom call, their office seemed clean however, it looked like most of their staff were women. I don’t know if I should commit or not.

Paid traffic. It's the only way in 2026. You either pay for a platform like Facebook ads, Google ads, Instagram ads, or you pay an "influencer" to publicize it.

Also, if you don't have budget, you can just give them a code, and say something like, I will pay you X based on the amount of people that use your code.

Probably not. What's important is having a solid plan. If you just throw money at the problem with no business plan then you might as well be flushing it. Most businesses fail but hiring an Indian agency for $500 is probably not the way to go.
If you actually have a marketable product you're probably better off growing grassroots via social media posting, but if you're just drop-shipping then buying ads works well enough. I don't see the Indian agency working unless it's drop-shipping for the Indian market which has questionable reach given their disposable income and online connectivity.

Nobody cares, as you seem to have found out the hard way.

What you have to realize, and what no business school or person or tutorial will teach you, is that luck is far more important then any other factor in your success. Maybe some """influencer""" will find your product, post about it, and you won't be able to keep it in stock. Or maybe somebody will sue you and it'll make the news and you'll sell out. But more likely you'll spend years trying to get some traction and as soon as you think you're doing well, Amazon will clone your product and sell it for cheaper.

From watching this board I could tell you the things in demand are 20-30 year old hoes and computer science jobs. So your online store should sell those things.

Find youtube and tictoc influencers who will plug your product and your store in return for samples or reciprocal plugs on your site.
