so like most gen z guys, im afraid of being perceived as a creep to 1. the girl im talking to, 2. people that may notice our interaction.i have noticed unequivocally, when i interact with a woman and shes really gets into the conversation we're having and is giggling and all, i immediately pull away and signal for the conversation to end. this is almost always met with a sighed 'okay' by them. im sure most of the time this indicates that she actually wants to talk to me lol. is it though? so for next time instead of letting it get to a point where they sigh okay, id continue the conversation then try to ask them out? i know im not autistic im just socially maladjusted

I had a female coworker do what you describe (and more), and when I asked her out, she said she has a boyfriend and stopped talking to me.
