What do you say when your friends or relatives ask why you don't have a girlfriend? For me the go to is, "I don't feel like financially supporting anyone else". But I know it's cope to a degree.

I’m 33 and have never had a gf. People stopped asking me years ago. I think they know it’s a touchy subject for me and also they know that it will probably never happen at this point. But on the rare occasion someone does ask, I just say I’m too busy right now or that I’ve been on some dates but they didn’t work out (a total BS lie as I have never been on a date)
