It's even worse when you are with someone 10+ years and you look at their older photos. Somewhat chubby after getting into a relationship but not that bad. Realize compared to today they were actually hot because they are even fatter now. It's almost embarrassing to be out with her sometimes when I'm in the best shape I've ever been. setting expectations early is important. I always get my GFS to the gym and on long walks with me. make them afraid of mediocrity and fat/oil/grease food
