My second and final project of this semester of CompSci, scheduled 2 days from now, is on PowerBI. I'm gonna GPT that shit, but how in the hell can I do the presentation on and open it on Linux?
>>34628995What do you have to demonstrate in the presentation?
>>34628995you'll have to use a windows vm, powerBI is a microsoft product
If it's a coding presentation, use Claude to make a practical thing. Don't universities check for AI papers? how do you get around this? Wouldn't it auto-detect?
>>34628999Slides (nothingburger) and the PowerBI graph or whatever.
>>34629006isn't that really easy? just install the vm and make the slides today
>>34629000>>34629009I can do the presentation on my dad's work craptop that has Windows, but can you tell me if I can preview the PowerBI graph on Linux? I want to check for obvious AI anomalies. >>34629004 doesn't apply to me because I'm in a poor shithole in Brazil. I'm pretty sure the professors just check the files for 5 minutes after the presentation.
>>34629018no clue, you're better off asking AI or just trying it today
>>34628995Use prezi or similar online tools, Figma is also good. Always additionally export the presentation as pdf and have it on a stick (caution: linux and windows have different storage formats, have two sticks and both ready). Store it on your cloud or push it to some online host service beforehand aswell. Fucking email the pdf to your teacher before for extra points. Take your laptop and adapter and a hdmi cable with you as well. Hdmi to VGA Adapter if you are extra paranoid. Main point: Always have multiple options ready, dont bet on one method.Ask the prof what option for opening he prefers. If it still fails somehow, you at least showed you were prepared and had multiple options. Prof will appreciate it and blame tech, not you. Always use pdf, never ppt or pptx - thats just asking for problems.
>>34628995unironically if you genuinely don't know how to do that you should fail
>>34629026>not knowing how to use kikeware from kikrosoft should fail you
trivial to do with docker. claude code can talk you through it in an hour
>>34628995you're a fucking idiot
>>34628995>but how in the hell can I do the presentation on and open it on Linux? And you're in your final project of CompSci this semester? You have two options, VM, browser. Pick one, son.
ill never understand why you people take computer science just to GPT your actual skillset. this is why youll never find a job because you cant do shit on your own
>>34631924every single person on this board that complains about not finding a tech job either gpted the whole way or didn't do internships. there's no legitimately interested computer programmers here
