Why do some people treat job safety like its just a suggestion ( even in the usa)?
Like people climbing shelves in a warehouse instead of using a ladder.
Sometimes rules have to be bent to maintain efficiency.

Because safety people have exploded their fake job industry with fake bullshit to justify why they need to not work hard labor. It's like big government stopping humanity from going forward.. Also some people just simply suck at not sticking their hands where they wouldn't stick their dick. These days companies will hire anyone for peanuts

Younger ones think it is cool to ignore rules. Older ones likely are more efficient ignoring rules. And management only cares about efficiency and violations not being reported to the outside - they would rather fire anyone filing a formal complaint than the person violating the rule.
