Why do I get so worried?
>be me
>tryan on new shoes
>they did a measurement of my foot to get my size
>they helped me check the insole fit by taking it out and checking it was long enough
>walk around and they feel good
>I’m still worried they’re a wrong fit because my heel is rubbing the back of the shoe and slipping a bit
Am I broken? Do I need a lobotomy? Am I worrying over something that doesn’t even matter? This isn’t just about the heel. The heel is anything small and imperceptible that I tend to fixate on and catastrophise over. I’m using mental health terms because they fit the bill, I’m not necessarily trying to convey my habit in a negative way. See? That! I’m worried you will get the wrong impression because I chose to use a particular word. Now I’m worried about how much I’m explaining myself. Oh dear… what a pickle I’m in…
