Kindly post them ITT to help out autists, I'll start.
>Greet people by name, making eye contact, smiling each time you meet them
It's a small thing, but the impact is big for a little bit of effort.

Look at them when you talk to them. Not "in the eyes" (That is in fact impossible - you can't focus on both eyes at once). But don't look at your shoes or away from them

I'm adhd as fuck. I hate it when people use my name or look me in the eye. Because my mind always anticipates boring bullshit is about to happen and I feel obligated to stop whatever it is in doing to go perform the social monkey dance for them. I prefer it when people just say whatever they want to say without the gay social pageantry. Which is why I enjoy autists, because they don't like it either and feel relieved when I tell them they are free to not maintain eye contact and are free to just rant about whatever they feel like.

> Comfortable with people touching you
I’m good at masking and enjoy being out and about with friends but god damn I cannot stand when people touch me, especially as a greeting. I have a few friends that like place their hand on my back when they greet me and it always makes me really uncomfortable. I’m not sure when this mental barrier developed and I’m trying to get over it so I don’t make a stink about it but god damn, I’m impressed with people who don’t seem to mind.

antisocial as fugg

Tomato tamato, antisocial traits are common with adhd. Most adhds just mask it, I stopped caring to pretend to give a shit is all.

A good trick is to look at their nose. To them, it will appear that you are making eye contact.

Yeah, I'm confused if OP genuinely thinks this is an autism hell idea. -because I just want to be left the hell alone and not tested for someone's standards or how they think the world should work for them. If I were some bubbly anime girl with a positive outlook answer to everything that'd be great. I'm not, I stopped being enchanted and dreaming to embody that kind of spirit early into my adulthood.
Beyond my demeanor it's always such an awkward point of shame when someone approaches you and expects to be recognized. Fucksake man, yeah sorry but maybe you should be sorry too for involving me in setting yourself up for disappointment. I never give anyone the impression I have room for them in my world. Great that's a joy of your life to make those connections so easily, it's an impossibility in mine.
It's a joke every now and then "why is it introverts need to pushed to open up but never are extraverts pushed to fuck off" but no really, one knows what they need to simply get by and is probably succumbing to a depressing world and the other wants people to perform for them and maintain their high or they'll have a crackhead fit and whine to any authority to penalize it or find a second person whose job it is now to calm them down.
Yes, I'm largely calling customer service culture a cancer.

Fucking hell, "autism help" I meant.

I just want to get better at communication, so I can come off less worse to others. I'm constantly making mistakes, even in my mid 20s

Avoid the impulse to lecture or give monologues. Even if someone asks you a question, they do NOT want a long comprehensive answer. Say no more than a single sentence on any topic unless they specifically ask you to say more.
