I want to build community and restore social cohesion in my neighborhood. How do I invest my free time into forming community resouces and creating shared spaces that bring people together IRL? Ideally without the requirement of spending money?

Your best bet is to work with an already established infrastructure, like a local church or community group. They may have plans for such a project and are just waiting for someone like you to get it going
